Previously came here on a Saturday evening for my 4th anniversary dinner. Such a beautiful chic restaurant with a lot of culture and love. It's vibrant, fun, and elegant with the perfect dim lighting for a romantic feel. The service was outstanding as the servers were very attentive to make sure we were enjoying both our time there and the food. She did an amazing job at explaining the dishes and recommended items that we would enjoy. The food was a bit pricy, but it was still filling at the end of the visit. The food was absolutely amazing when it came to taste! My rack of lamb from the paella de Cordero was cooked to perfection, which is often hard to do with lamb! Thus it won bonus points from me. The seafood paella's freshness and quality made it taste heavenly. We both left extremely satisfied and delighted with the entire experience. It was definitely worth the slight splurge. I must come back soon... and if you love seafood or Spanish tapas, then Barcelona is a must try for you!

We've wanted to visit forever and I'm upset we didn't visit sooner. Tried a cocktail and a white wine flight, both were delicious and they have lots of options to choose from. The food was just incredible. Loved the strawberry salad and the Scallops were cooked perfectly. Looking forward to visiting again when we can enjoy the patio.

All-around excellence. I used to live in German Village, apparently before Barcelona moved in. And then when it showed up I kept hearing about it but it was far off my usual routes. Lately I've been hanging out down there more, and the other day while driving by I saw that they have lunch hours (before they didn't, or I assumed they didn't.) So I stopped in today, right when they opened. Much bigger inside than I expected. And much nicer. I knew it was a bit upscale, but it is just gorgeous inside. I felt a little underdressed in my t-shirt, one of my nicer ones but still. There was hardly anyone there, though, and the staff didn't make me feel that way, so it was fine. There are many seating options inside, and a beautiful patio. Soft relaxing Spanish music playing (and apparently they often have live music.) And the menu. Oh, my. So many things looked good. I didn't have a lot of time and wasn't starving, so I went with gazpacho and the bocata sandwich. The waiter pointed out that I could make a cup of gazpacho one of the sides with the sandwich, so I did that. Worked great, though the soup was so good I could have easily eaten more (and left overstuffed.) The gazpacho was thick and luscious, and looked and tasted like it was made with ingredients fresh from your backyard. The bocata... Well, picture a sub. Okay, now give it excellent bread, savory Spanish meats, great cheese, fresh tasty greens. Oh, and a slightly-spicy pepper pinned on top. Great parts, great balance, great sandwich. I had Pellegrino with it, appropriate and refreshing on a hot day. They offered dessert but I didn't have room or time. I will definitely be back for that, paella, calamari, and more.

We went back this time for a quick dinner bite and decided to get glasses of wine, pan, Ensalada César, the grilled octopus, and Tres Leches. Getting out of the rain, the service was attentive and we witnessed the chef shift changing with a bit of food and discussion. The ambiance was good for a slight rainy night but what I want to talk about is the change of the items a bit. Previously the grilled octopus was a few tentacles but I guess inflation since now it was cut razor thin slices with a few pieces of bread for around ~$20. The salad was plentiful at $13 and the bread at $9 is best served warm- I asked for them to reheat it. The evening ended with a good Tres Leches $12 with the night costing around ~$70! I would suggest going for the Paella which is a better bargain or going to the wine tasting as mentioned previously.

It is an expensive restaurant so if you are big eaters like us - bring a big credit card haha. Despite a big restaurant with many tables, they are very popular so make advance booking. But it's a common practise of theirs to ask walk-ins to wait at the bar and get a drink which we did while waiting for any tables to finish. We were told it would take 20mins but as soon as we ordered our drinks then we were told our table at the patio was ready. So our sangria was served at the patio instead. The bartender was very friendly and basically followed us to our table and served us the drink. Our server Jhsai was very friendly and helpful - we liked that he checked on us periodically so we could get the dropped knife replaced or get more water.. The tapas were very good and authentic like we were eating in Barcelona, Spain ! For the three of us we as usual ordered a bunch and enjoyed every dish - Garlic shrimp - must order Calamari - big portion and must order Grilled Cauliflower - better than expected and must order Flank steak - very good quality meat but very stingy. Two small pieces only! Red wine short rib - delicious Manchego with bread - ok We also had to try their paella but I was a little disappointed. They could use more tasty broth to make the rice more flavorful. And could be nice if they could add more clams and shrimps. I wasn't interested in dessert but our son wanted his favourite dessert tres leches so he had it and liked it alot. So worth a try. We could be tempted to return in our future trips - if we crave tapas again.

Finally got a chance to try this well known gem! Only disappointed by the lovely patio being closed. However, the exceptional food, drink service and ambiance made up for it! It's hard to choose from such an extensive, well thought out menu, so, as it was designed, we eagerly picked several tapas. The soup was beyond delicious, a unique take on gazpacho, but with savory green tomatoes that had an incredible smoky undertone. Our Caesar salad was crisp and flavorful and big enough to share. Calamari also did not disappoint. Extremely flavorful, tender and fresh! In addition, we enjoyed a perfectly seared steak with chimichurri sauce! We found ourselves distracted by items other guests were eating. Everything was plated beautifully! Although I wanted to skip dessert, I was encouraged to try the blood orange flan,......heavenly! Looking forward to another visit and that outdoor patio experience for sure.

Well, where to start? It was our 13th wedding anniversary. This place is amazing: first valet parking was a big help. Our reservation was for 5 pm and we were seated promptly. Service and food were excellent. I ordered red Sangria and two portions of Camarones al Ajillo (shrimps) & Pan (bread with olive oil). Dessert was on the house as a gift for our anniversary. It was our first visit there but it will definitely not be the last. I highly recommend this establishment!

I really liked this place! I was here on a food tour and the vibes are exceptional. Everyone is super professional and the paella is the bomb. The vegetarian one was packed with flavor as were the sangrias. If I was a local I would definitely be back!
